When Gary started to paint, he never thought that he would have the attention of the world's media once people began to hear what was underway. Despite the never-ending hound of newspaper reporters and television crews from all over the world, Gary began to understand their part in the unfolding of the unique undertaking that they were playing - people were coming from all over when they saw what was taking place in the news, some with tears in their eyes, touched by the work, a few steps to or back to God.
